From Tuesday, October 20, through Saturday, October 31, train services will be suspended on sections of the railway line between Arnhem and Utrecht, the Dutch railway infrastructure manager ProRail reported. During this period, ProRail will carry out track maintenance and construct a new railway underpass near Wolfheze station.

The works will take place in two phases. From October 20 through Friday, October 23, no trains will operate between Driebergen-Zeist and Arnhem Central, or between Driebergen-Zeist and Rhenen. Rail services between Arnhem Centraal and Ede-Wageningen will be suspended from October 24 to October 31.

Replacement buses will be provided, said railway operator NS. Passengers are advised to travel by train or to use alternative routes if possible.

Passengers traveling to Utrecht are advised to take a detour through ’s-Hertogenbosch. Those travelling to Amsterdam or destinations further north are encouraged to travel via Deventer. NS recommends that travelers plan their travels in advance.
